  7.     Tired of Andrew Dice Clay and other foul-mouthed
  8. comedians? Had it up to here with hate humor? Get ready for a
  9. kinder, gentler comic. It's beloved TV queen MARY TYLER MOORE,
  10. who's set to host a Showtime special July 20 from the Montreal
  11. International Comedy Festival. Moore will share the stage with
  12. a horde of hot and hungry jokesters, and although she won't
  13. write her own material, she will help shape the gags. "I'm not
  14. going to tell a lot of Roseanne Barr kind of jokes," says Moore.
  15. "I'm going to talk about the kinds of things that are pertinent
  16. to my life." If all goes well, will Moore start turning up in
  17. smoky comedy joints? Not likely. "Club life is not my idea of
  18. fun at this point."
